- If you feel pain in your gums, suck on an ice cube to numb the area or use an ice pack for a painful jaw.
- Rotate between hot and cold. Apply a hot compress on your jaw.
- Place a wet black tea bag on your sore gum for 30 minutes. This will relieve the soreness and may stop the bleeding.
- Try putting pieces of onion on to the affected tooth. The antibacterial properties within natural onions will help remove germs and reduce the pain.
- You can put oil of cloves on your aching tooth every 20 minutes using a cotton swab. This will ease some of the pain.
- Bay berry bark extract made into a paste can be helpful for toothaches. Apply vinegar together with the bay berry bark extract into a paste form and put it on the affected tooth. It should help ease the pain immediately.
